1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 stick melted salted butter

Filling:
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
1 (15-ounce) can pureed pumpkin
3 eggs plus 1 egg yolk

For filling:
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add pumpkin puree, eggs, egg yolk, sour cream, sugar and the spices. Add flour and vanilla. Beat together until well combined. Pour into crust. Spread out evenly and place in oven for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let sit for 15 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Happy Thanksgiving! I am glad to say this recipe was a SUCCESS! I love trying new recipes when baking, and pumpkin pie cheesecake just sounded too delicious to pass up. It was pretty simple to make! I advise buying the crackers already crushed (that saves a lot of time crunching graham crackers). For the cranberry sauce I just combined corn syrup and cranberry sauce and then added some fresh cranberries on top! It was DELICIOUS and there were NO leftovers! Definitely going to make this one again! Enjoy. :)

Traveling In Style: Happy Thanksgiving!

jacket: Forever 21
leggings: Lauren Conrad for Kohl's
tank top: Topshop
shoes: Charlotte Russe
watch: Michael Kors
bag: Michael Kors

It's that time of year again! Thanksgiving..finals..Christmas! 2012 is quickly coming to an end and with all of the traveling going on, this outfit is perfect for the airport. I am excited to be taking a trip up north to visit family, and was thinking of something comfortable to travel in! I love the military trend that is happening right now and pairing it with a little leopard is just girly enough! It's comfortable, cute, and careless to get through that security line. I'm such a winter person so I can't WAIT to post more pictures for cold weather outfits! (Something difficult to achieve with bi-polar Texas weather). I am thankful for my wonderful family, the ability to be attending a great University, and all the incredible blessing I have in my life! :)

Scarves Scarves Scarves!

As per request, I decided to put up a little tutorial I found for a few different ways to tie a scarf! Scarves are a fall and winter MUST and I am obsessed with them. I would say my personal collection of scarves is well over a few handfuls.. :) Once again, I think H&M is great for finding really cool and fun scarves, but you can also check Zara and Mango! Hope this helps!

I love wearing oversized sweaters during the fall! They are comfortable, cute, and easy to style with accessories and jewelry to make a great outfit! I like pairing an oversized sweater with leggings, riding boots, and a great scarf! H&M always has great sweaters for low prices!

Napoleon Perdis

Napoleon Perdis

For a long time I searched for a great foundation that conceals, but does not cake on. One day I was shopping at Ulta and they happened to have a promotion for an Australian makeup line called Napoleon Perdis. I had some time to spare in between classes, so my sister and I decided to sign up for a free makeup tutorial with their products. My artist was a BLAST and he explained that Napoleon made his products for a wet-humid climate because he noticed women were having problems with oily foundations in the Outback. Well, living in Texas with the heat and humidity makes it difficult to maintain a fresh and powdered face throughout the day. China Doll foundation is AWESOME. Its not too thick to where it looks caked on, but it lasts the entire day and is great at concealing acne marks and dark circles! The Auto Pilot primer is an extra boost to set the foundation before use and it helps with controlling shine and oil. The Bronze Patrol Luminizer/Bronzer leaves a really pretty mirage of different shades of warmths and pinks for your cheekbones. (My makeup artist even told me a secret that he sometimes uses it for a neutral eyeshadow too and you don't even need to use a contour shadow because the colors are multi-dimensional..it was really pretty!) The lipsticks are great because they double as lip moisturizer too...my artist gave me Atalanta, which is a really pretty coral color! Atalanta is great when you want a pretty POP of color! Anybody ever tried other Napolean Perdis products? Let me know what you think! Ci vediamo. :)
